Responsibilities
•Draw up documents for engineering projects using approved formats by ICRC.
•Assist, develop, implement, report and supervise Water and Habitat projects, water, sanitation, power supply, construction and camps.
•Responsible for the financial follow up and tendering procedures for each project.
•Liaise with local authorities and representatives with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) on the activities carried out.
•Responsible for the administrative and logistical tasks.
•Prepare project proposals and contact the concerned departments.
•Maintain a good relationship with projects partners, contractors and suppliers.
•Translate documents from English into Arabic and vice versa and Interpret for the international staff.


Qualifications
•University degree in civil, structural or hydrological/hydraulic engineering, architecture or similar..
•3 to 5 years work experience in a similar field.
•Very good computer skills, especially MS office and engineering software.
•Good knowledge of water and sanitation or construction engineering.
•Good command of spoken and written English.
•Good geographical knowledge of the assigned area.
